Konica Minolta’s bizhub C308 and bizhub 227 given BLI Summer Pick Award 2016

| 30 August 2016

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe (Konica Minolta) has been given the Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) Summer Pick Award 2016 for its bizhub C308 and the bizhub 227. Twice a year, BLI bestows special recognition on products that provide the most outstanding performances in lab tests. Both MFP products were winners with a comprehensive set of features, excellent reliability, support for mobile printing, a fully customisable driver and diverse control panel as well as comprehensive security measures.

“We are constantly aiming to have the best collaborative platform for the office environment”, said Julien Azzi, product manager at Konica Minolta. “We are delighted that the increased productivity, seamless integration and high cost efficiency of the bizhub C308 have been recognised by the BLI Pick awards.” As one of the leading providers for multifunctional printing, Konica Minolta demonstrates its expertise and commitment to deliver the best printing output for customers. This is amply illustrated by the bizhub C308 (outstanding 21- to 30-ppm A3 colour MFP) and bizhub 227 (outstanding 21- to 30-ppm A3 monochrome MFP), which belong to Konica Minolta's line of colour and monochrome range of printers, respectively.

Convincing reliability and diversity – the bizhub C308 and bizhub 227
Having been extensively tested by the Buyers Laboratory LLC, both Konica Minolta MFPs won everyone over with reliability, diversity and usability. “The Konica Minolta bizhub C308 will reduce costs and streamline workflows in a number of ways”, explains BLI Senior Editor George Mikolay. For the BLI, it is paramount that the multifunctional peripherals printers support users in daily business. “The Konica Minolta bizhub 227 impressively bridges the gap between compact A4 MFPs and traditional mid-volume A3 office MFPs”, adds Mikolay. “With a low price and outstanding overall performance, the device is a high value-add for small to mid-size workgroups.”It is one of Konica Minolta’s goals to provide products with superior quality yet are easy to handle – a feature that was taken note of and commended by the BLI: “The BLI award winning MyTab in the drivers is fully customisable, allowing you to set preferences and shortcuts for frequently-used job types to streamline workflow further. And the intuitive control panel can be customised with up to 25 shortcut keys for commonly programmed jobs”, explains George Mikolay.

BLI awards outstanding products and solutions in office segment
With the Summer and Winter Pick Awards, the BLI recognises outstanding hardware and software products twice a year. Qualifying as Pick contenders are those products that withstand the unique BLI durability test, earning a BLI certificate. They are the best performers among their competitors in their respective categories. For more than 50 years, buyers and IT directors have trusted the BLI Pick to guide them best in their acquisition decisions.
