Konica Minolta’s versatile benchtop spectrophotometers can be used connected to a PC or in standalone mode allowing for colour control where you need it, either in the laboratory, in production, or onsite at a customer or supplier. Our benchtop spectrophotometers are widely used for both transmittance and reflectance colour measurement of liquids, generating colour data that is easy to analyse, report, and communicate with customers. Cuvettes of 2, 10 or 20mm are available in either optical glass or plastic dependent on your requirements. Or a flow cell can be employed to integrate the system into other test equipment or with an automated or closed system. Our benchtop spectrophotometer CM-5 can measure several of the standard color indices commonly used in the chemical field. Spectral curves for specific indices including Gardner, Hazen/APHA, Iodine Color Number, European Pharmacopoeia, and US Pharmacopeia are stored in CM-5, eliminating the need to prepare and handle the standard solutions for each index. Index measurements can be taken using the optional 10mm cell measurement with the commercially available 10mm-wide cells used for other types of chemical analysis, letting our instrument easily fit into your current workflow.
