Sidekix chooses Konica Minolta to further professionalise personalised campaigns

| 27 January 2020

Sidekix, a specialist in the execution of marketing campaigns, has become the first Dutch marketing fulfilment company to invest in Konica Minolta's AccurioJet KM-1. With this B2+ UV inkjet printer, the company can produce personalised products faster and work with a wider range of materials.

Sidekix has grown tremendously in recent years - from 10 to 80 employees - and needed more production capacity. As the marketing specialist has been working with Konica Minolta for over ten years, the choice of an IT service provider and production printer supplier was easily made.

The Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1 B2+ UV digital press is referred to as "the Swiss army knife” of the printing industry, because it has so many uses. It offers Sidekix several new possibilities, such as higher volume and printing on various types of paper, cardboard, plastics and canvas, enabling Sidekix to offer its customers more diversity in the future. In this way, the company expects to expand its offerings in packaging in the future.

In the future, Sidekix wants to attract a large number of brands with consumer relations in the Netherlands. Nijenhuis concludes: "We already work a lot with large organisations in the field of personalised mailings and we want to expand this by offering personalised packaging. With the KM-1 we are sure that we can handle the volume for the new markets we want to serve in the coming years."
