Visitors to Labelexpo Europe will see the potential in future label printing with demonstrating of the most advanced cutting-edge digital label technology from Konica Minolta and how it can transform label production.

Konica Minolta’s stand (Hall 5, E61/5G60) at the show at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona, from September 16-19 will provide a gateway to spicier print production and enable customers to experience the perfect blend of technology and craftmanship.

The European market leader in digital label press systems will be showcasing its innovative labels, packaging and embellishment in collaboration with MGI Digital Technology. The systems already confirmed for Labelexpo are Konica Minolta’s AccurioLabel 230 and AccurioLabel 400, MGI’s JETvarnish 3D Web 400 and Octopus Web, plus the GM DC350Mini Basic. Konica Minolta will also demonstrate its AccurioPro Flux and AccurioPro Dashboard software.

The AccurioLabel 230 is suitable for professional print providers who want to shift volumes from conventional presses to digital, as well as those wanting a complementary solution to balance jobs from other digital presses. With the AccurioLabel 400, which prints an unmatched resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi, visitors will experience Konica Minolta’s new white toner, boasting over 70% opacity, while maintaining the same unparalleled reliability as the CYMK toners. Its innovative Intelligent Quality Care technology ensures color consistency over the whole print run. Both machines provide answers to reducing run lengths, shorter delivery times, personalisation and versioning, and on-demand print runs.

MGI’s Octopus Web offers a new technology for digital cutting and finishing of self-adhesive labels, using 4-axis cutting heads equipped with cutting blades. The JETvarnish 3D Web 400 from MGI is a solution for label printers and flexible packaging producers who are looking for a digital way for embellishment to differentiate their services.

The DC350Mini Basic is the most compact unit in GM’s series of label-finishing machines. It offers semi-rotary die cutting, lamination, and a genuine pneumatic knife box with crush knives.
