Konica Minolta’s new bizhub i-Series printing device portfolio continues to grow

| 29 July 2019

Konica Minolta unveiled the first multifunction devices of its new next generation IoT-enabled bizhub i-Series at the beginning of 2019. The leader in delivering world-class business transformation solutions and technologies is now launching four new additions to the range: the bizhub 4000i and bizhub 5000i A4 monochrome single printers as well as the bizhub 4020i and bizhub 5020i All in One (AIO) devices. With their stylish, contemporary design and highly practical functionality such as Google Cloud Print and security functions, these fast and highly reliable printers are the perfect addition for offices of all sizes, helping them meet their document printing needs.

Konica Minolta’s bizhub 4000i and bizhub 5000i A4 single printers meet the full scope of monochrome imaging requirements, with print speeds of 40 ppm (bizhub 4000i) and 50 ppm (bizhub 5000i). They are able to deliver very fast performance thanks to their general memory of 256 MB in the bizhub 4000i and 512 MB in the bizhub 5000i. Intelligent solutions such as Wi-Fi Direct and Google Cloud Print make printing workflows seamless and easy. Document protection is also ensured with a secure function lock for users. Additionally, Active Directory authentication is possible with the bizhub 5000i, which also offers NFC for card readers as standard.

The bizhub 4020i and bizhub 5020i devices are ideal for customers that also require copy, scan and fax functionality in their A4 monochrome printers. Print speeds are up to 40 ppm in the bizhub 4020i and 50 ppm in the bizhub 5020i. With a general memory of 256 MB in the bizhub 4020i and 1 GB in the bizhub 5020i, they have more than enough memory for the additional scanning and fax features. Besides the functions of the new single-function printers, the AIO models also provide direct print functionality. Furthermore, the bizhub 5020i has a duplex dual scan capability that helps cut scanning times for two-sided documents.

The bizhub 4000i printer is the successor to the bizhub 3602P, while the bizhub 4020i replaces the bizhub 3622. Moreover, the bizhub 5000i succeeds both the bizhub 4402P and the bizhub 4702P. The bizhub 5020i AIO device is replacing the bizhub 4422. The new bizhub i-Series printers will be available from 27 August.
