Konica Minolta's smart video surveillance help reduce theft and increase sales at pepco stores in Bulgaria

PEPCO is a European chain of stores offering clothing for the whole family and domestic products. For more than 20 years, the company has been growing dynamically in Poland and has become the most popular retailer of children's clothing and a leading supplier of decoration products.

The company has over 2,700 stores and over 23,000 employees in sixteen European countries in Central and Eastern Europe. There are already over 120 stores in Bulgaria and their number is constantly growing.

The company repeatedly had to deal with thefts in the shops. There was also a lack of information about customers' buying behaviour. That's why PEPCO chose Konica Minolta's intelligent video solution. This reduced theft rates and allowed the company to target and increase sales thanks to data analysis on purchasing behaviour.
