In 2018, the CSEEE wanted to implement a “one-stop shop” solution to manage its information system and that would ensure the smooth exchange and security of data. The specifications comprised Office Automation, IT Infrastructure and Document Management. Thanks to Workplace Hub, CSEEE now boasts a fully integrated automated office and IT architecture, providing high processing speeds and secure access to data.
In 2018, the CSEEE wanted to implement a “one-stop shop” solution to manage its information system and that would ensure the smooth exchange and security of data. The specifications comprised three parts:
Thanks to the Konica Minolta Workplace Hub, the CSEEE now boasts a fully integrated automated office and IT architecture, providing high processing speeds and secure access to data.
“We had this preconception of an operator that was defined by a culture of office automation, yet we were pleasantly surprised to find a multi-skilled team that was led by a dedicated project manager. The pre-sale was extremely in-depth. The consultants that were assigned to us were eager to get to know us well and were astute in their assessments.”

Director of the CSEEE
A trusted managed IT partner providing rapid 24/7 support to ensure continual operations
Consolidated vendor solution across IT hardware, infrastructure and support
The robustness of the new architecture was quickly put to a real-life, full-scale test with the COVID-19 health crisis and the resulting lockdown measures. Within two days, the entire CSEEE team had successfully transitioned to working from home, with the ability to exchange information and access files remotely.
“The platform gives us the ability to manage our entire information system from a single point. And thanks to the managed services, administration and maintenance issues are handled remotely by Konica Minolta’s teams. Our next project is to expand the use of the electronic document management system to include our members, so that we can reduce email use. Our second project will be to fully convert to virtual workstations, which will not only allow us to access our archived files when working remotely, but our desktops as well.”

Director of CSEEE
Discussions culminated in 2019 with the implementation of Konica Minolta’s Workplace Hub platform at the CSEEE. The architecture is based on a single server that manages and backs up data from the IT systems and office automation equipment, and handles the interaction between devices and people. Document management is provided by Konica Minolta’s KOMI Doc solution. Office 365 has been installed on all workstations, which gives the team easy and secure access to the latest versions of Microsoft’s desktop software, as well as collaborative applications like Exchange or SharePoint.
