With the new bizhub C658 series, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH (Konica Minolta) is presenting three premium A3 colour office devices that come with unprecedented features such as a 10.1” touchscreen. The latest bizhub printers expand on existing possibilities, such as advanced sensor technology, secure document workflow and interface customisation.
As the successor to the bizhub C454e and bizhub C554e, the bizhub C658 series meets the requirements of companies with high productivity, such as Global Major Accounts or Major Accounts, or with vertical departments, such as legal or finance teams. High efficiency is ensured with a colour printing speed of 65ppm for the bizhub C658, or 55ppm and 45ppm for the C558 and C458 respectively. All of the devices are capable of creating a variety of printed materials in house and offer a selection of multi-functional finishers that can, for instance, produce booklets or Z folded documents. “With these new multi-function printers, Konica Minolta offers offices a way to become more productive. Users have a device that is easy to operate and saves time and effort. The best possible operability and technology New, previously unseen features are being introduced with the bizhub C658 series: these MFPs are equipped with a 10.1” touchscreen panel and a more powerful processor, which provide users with exceptional ease-of-use and operability. Additionally, the new interface can easily be customised to support users in their routine tasks at work. The panel provides smooth and responsive navigation through the menu. Thanks to the new developments in capacity levels and the high-speed dual-scan document feeder, scanning large volumes is very easy, and this emphasises the reliability of the bizhub C658 series. In addition to the high-productivity ADF, ultra-sonic sensors ensure that every single original has been scanned or copied, prevent multi-feeding and improve the security of archiving workflow. Other advantages of the compact bizhub series are its versatility and the multi-functional finishers available for producing various types of output. Among these are different options for folding letters, a handy tri-fold function for creating invitations and the stapled handout function. Saving space and costs The bizhub C658 series is perfectly suited to offices with limited space. Even though the device is highly productive, the TEC value is amongst the lowest in its class. As with other bizhub models, the systems in the bizhub C658 series are equipped for the ultimate mobile experience and are set up for connectivity with a reliable solutions platform and related services. They support pairing with mobile phones and can print content directly from handheld devices, as well as being set up for NFC communication.
