Konica Minolta Business Solutions France completes the acquisition of 7 SEQUOÏA Group subsidiaries

| 31 January 2019

Konica Minolta Business Solutions France is strengthening its presence in the Grand-Est and Reunion Island regions where the SEQUOÏA Group subsidiaries are a reference in printing and document flows.

The SEQUOÏA Group, headquartered in Metz, France, was founded by Jean-Michel GUYOT in 2006. It employs 179 staff and has a turnover of €36.5 M (fiscal 2017/2018). Konica Minolta and the SEQUOÏA Group have just concluded an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of the following SEQUOÏA Group subsidiaries: Sequoïa Logistique, Est Multicopie, Dyctal Bureautique, Global Bureautique, A4A3 Bureautique, REPRO BUREAU and Alliance Bureautique.

The SEQUOÏA Group, one of the leading dealers in the Konica Minolta network (Konica Minolta and Develop brands), grew by taking over several local structures that ensures a strong regional presence.

This operation is part of Konica Minolta’s medium term development plan aimed at consolidating its presence in strategic regions such as the Grand-Est region. In this way, Konica Minolta wishes to deploy its IT service offers as well as the Workplace Hub, its new services platform to support the digital transformation of SMBs.

At the end of this operation, Konica Minolta will hold 100% of the capital of the SEQUOÏA Group's subsidiaries. Jean-Michel GUYOT remains Chairman of the SEQUOÏA Group in charge of development.

In addition, this acquisition is consistent with the Group's SHINKA 2019 corporate strategy as it seeks to become a leading IT services provider and IoT supplier. The strategic direction taken by the Konica Minolta Group reflects its determination to improve work environment and customers’ performance with collaborators and innovative services.
