From Spain to international business leadership

Meet Ana Aranda

Originally from Spain, Ana Aranda has lived in Finland for more than 20 years and has been part of Specim since 2006.

Today, as Business Area Manager for AMER & EMEA, she leads an international cross-functional team and oversees markets representing a significant share of Specim's business.

Her journey is defined by curiosity, continuous learning, and a passion for turning advanced technology into meaningful customer value.

Driven by impact

At Specim, a Konica Minolta company specializing in hyperspectral imaging, I help turn advanced technology into real value for customers around the world.

What motivates me most is seeing our solutions contribute to a more sustainable future, from smarter recycling processes and the circular economy to early disease detection in vegetation.

Collaboration without borders

At Specim, people with different backgrounds and expertise come together with a shared goal.

Trust, open communication, and a willingness to help one another make collaboration successful, regardless of location. For me, distance is never a barrier when everyone is working toward a common purpose.

A truly international environment

As a Spaniard who has lived in Finland for more than 20 years, working across cultures is a natural part of my daily life.

Different perspectives make us stronger, helping us innovate, solve challenges, and create greater value for customers worldwide.

Growing through opportunity

Working with customers, partners, and colleagues across regions and cultures has broadened my perspective and strengthened my skills.

Every new challenge is an opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow.

Growth beyond titles

To me, growth is not only about promotions.

It's about being trusted with greater responsibility, new markets, and bigger challenges. That trust has been one of the most important drivers of my career journey.
