Felix Schoeller installs Konica Minolta FD-9 with Autosheet-Feeder in their R&D laboratory in Osnabrück

Nieuwegein, April 2018

In Felix Schoeller's R&D Center in Osnabrück people are conducting numerous measurements to verify their special paper's performance.

Dedicated test  forms with a lot of control elements are measured and analysed. Until today they had to use special setups of mainly slow spectrophotometers, as more modern instruments did not fulfil their requirements. Recently they discovered the Konica Minolta FD-9 Autoscan Spectrophotometer. Impressed by the versatility and speed the first tests were organised easily thanks to Konica Minolta's swift service providing a loaner unit with initial training. These tests convinced Felix Schoeller completely. Regarding speed, accuracy and liability there's no comparable instrument available on the market.

Spectral measurements are now done using the FD-9. The additional Autosheet-Feeder assures a high degree of automation keeping the perfect accuracy.  Thanks to the possibility to use QR-codes even mixed charts can be measured automatically and the acquired data can be associated with the pertinent datasets. Finally Felix Schoeller has a setup which they can perfectly rely on.
