Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Konica Minolta) presents the new bizhub PRO 1052e, bizhub PRESS 1052e, bizhub PRESS 1250e and bizhub PRESS 1250eP production printers. The new printers herald a new age in monochrome printing, expanding possibilities with new finishing options, enhanced workflow management and a new dimension in monochrome print quality. With the launch of the new models, commercial printers and organisations with large printing operations with a high black & white throughput can set aside concerns over production bottlenecks and delays and experience enhanced efficiency, utmost reliability and superior versatility.

High quality finishing within a seamless automated workflow The new models also simplify and accelerate workflows through support for Konica Minolta’s own inline finisher, which lets customers automate the entire print and finishing process. The new Konica Minolta SD-513 booklet making unit offers fully automated creasing, three edge trimming and spine corner forming, helping to reduce delivery times and freeing up staff for increased productivity.
Further stages can be seamlessly incorporated into an automated end-to-end workflow thanks to compatibility with the automated booklet finisher from Watkiss, a tried-and-tested and powerful solution that offers the highest quality inline booklet creation. Additional optional modules from Konica Minolta include an exclusive Envelope Kit for envelope printing and a Decurler Unit with optional humidifier unit.
The new printers include Konica Minolta’s tone curve utility for professional tone curve as well as screening adjustments. They offer excellent performance, helping to speed up operations: The bizhub PRESS 1250e/eP can print up to 125 ppm A4/70 ppm A3, while the bizhub PRESS 1052e can print up to 105 ppm A4/60 ppm A3.

Carbon neutral printing is available to all customers, with both new equipment and print outs able to be certified as achieving carbon neutral status through Konica Minolta’s comprehensive “Enabling carbon neutrality” programme.
