Konica Minolta sponsors London Technology Week Arena

For the first time, Konica Minolta, a leading services provider for IT and document processes, will take part at the London Technology Week (LTW) between 15-21 June in London, UK. The presence there will be led by the Konica Minolta Business Innovation Centre, Europe, focusing on initiating, supporting and managing new business and technology development. Key themes of focus during the LTW will be Digital Healthcare, Augmented Reality, Information Automation & Sensing, Digital Workplace, Business Technologies and Internet of Things.


Over 200 events will be held during the LTW. One of them, Interop London, brings together the IT community driving innovation taking place from 16-18 June at the ExCel centre, London. Part of Interop London is the “London Technology Week Arena”, officially sponsored by Konica Minolta. On 17 June, 11 a.m. at the LTW Arena, Dr. Dennis Curry, Director of Business Innovation and R&D Europe, will join an executive panel session to discuss "How can we speed up the transition from startup to scale up? What investment and funding is needed?" In addition, Dr. Curry will also deliver a speech on the "Genius of Things" considering Internet of Things at midday, 18 June. Furthermore, Konica Minolta will also be present at a 20 square metres booth (stand IOP310) their forward-looking IT and technology solutions including a platform, where individuals could simultaneously interact via multi-touch interfaces, with intuitive pasting, grouping and tagging, and Konica Minolta’s collaboration and ideation platform that enables new ideas to be generated, developed and communicated.

LTW had its premiere in 2014 with more than 40,000 visitors from over 40 countries who came together for 203 events held at venues across the city of London. Events ranged from large international conferences to intimate workshops, face-to-face investor meetings, pitching competitions and hackathons, covering a huge variety of topics including gaming, big data, IT, wearables, education, music, sport, fashion, finance and science.
