Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) is completing its range of intelligent production printing technologies with Color Care Production Server (CCPS), a print and colour server that provides absolute colour consistency across all output devices – manufacturer independently. The new offer provides numerous advantages to print room operators and their customers. By creating a unified graphical user interface for all operating digital printers CCPS massively shortens the learning curve for handling the machines and simplifies their usability. This product represents Konica Minolta’s unified expertise for a perfect print result: Besides outstanding hardware the company provides ultra-precise measurement technology (Konica Minolta Sensing Unit) and software that hits the nerve of the print industry.
Print providers that run multiple digital printers and different brands in their print room depend on ensuring complete colour consistency across all devices and easy to use machines to reliably meet their customer’s demands. The intelligent Color Care Production Server (CCPS) matches colour output, optimizes the print data for each printer and paper type thus ensuring colour reproduction as close as possible to the original and the particular print standard. In addition, the CCPS provides full control of finishing options on Konica Minolta printers. Processes can easily be automated and the entire production workflow becomes smooth and easy.

CCPS enhances reliability and productivity
By creating a unified graphical user interface for all existing printers CCPS enhances the overall productivity of the entire print room. Customer’s interest in print products is increasing due to simplified usability and a shortened familiarisation phase for the handling of the machines. Furthermore, production operators can achieve their production targets faster and streamline their workflows making the purchasing of faster machines obsolete at this point. Color Care Production Server has been developed with Konica Minolta Sensing, a Konica Minolta business unit that develops high-precision measuring instruments, and is available from July 2015.
