Konica Minolta confirms the streamlining of its sales and finance back office operations

| 23 July 2018

Konica Minolta confirms a reorganisation of its Sales Administration and Finance back office operations in several European countries, advancing the company’s transformation towards becoming an IT services provider and increasing the earning capacity of its core business.

Konica Minolta confirms the streamlining and standardisation of its back office operations across the Sales Administration and Finance divisions. In April of this year, Konica Minolta announced its intent to evaluate its back office operations in Sales Administration and Finance and define a more efficient organisational structure. The reorganisation will deliver operational excellence for Konica Minolta and focus on process standardisation and optimisation without compromising its high standards of customer services. It also takes account of the overall market situation in the printing industry. Konica Minolta confirms that Genpact, a global business services firm focused on delivering digital transformation, will be supporting the implementation of its Global Business Services in Europe as well.

Konica Minolta will outsource to Genpact 215 FTEs across Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway as well as the European Headquarters in Sales Administration, Finance and Reporting. This is 14% less than the initial estimate of 250 FTEs in the first announcement in April of this year.
