2017Konica Minolta announces Workplace Hub, an innovative new enterprise IT solution that unifies an organisation’s entire technology in a single centralised platform. Designed to future-proof workplaces of every size as they work towards digital transformation, version one of Workplace Hub directly addresses growing IT complexity by providing more efficient and effective management of the disparate array of tools, services and devices used by modern organisations.
Konica Minolta launches Markomi, its self-developed Marketing Automation Platform to meet the demands of the continually increasing multi-channel communication, thus expanding its business field of Marketing Services. Addressing small and mid-sized businesses, Markomi enables the definition, segmentation, scheduling and tracking of online marketing campaigns to support companies for instance in introducing new products or promoting special sales actions to customers.
For nine years in a row, Konica Minolta is leading the market of Production Printing (32.5%) segment (according to infosource).
Konica Minolta and Ambry Genetics announce the signing of a definitive agreement for a subsidiary of Konica Minolta to acquire Ambry. With this, Konica Minolta enters the new business field of precision medicine.
Konica Minolta has developed the world’s first automotive 3D Augmented Reality head-up display that meets the growing global need to assist safe driving. It is designed to present 3D information (images) on the windshield to assist the driver.

Konica Minolta is awarded the global ecoVadis Gold rating for the second consecutive year. The Gold rating is the highest distinction possible in the global ecoVadis sustainability evaluation. With this, Konica Minolta is positioned among the TOP 1% for sustainability performance. Furthermore, Konica Minolta is in the TOP 3 % of suppliers in the category “Manufacture of computers and peripheral equipment”.
2016Konica Minolta launches AccurioJet KM-1, a digital inkjet print system for digital book printing and packaging with a UV inkjet sheet system that allows printing onto larger format B2+. The KM-1 offers high image quality on par with offset printing and meets commercial printing needs such as high-mix printing, small-lot jobs, printing with short lead times, variable printing, etc.
Konica Minolta signs a contract acquiring additional stake in France-based MGI Digital Technology, thus adding strengths of digitalisation in the label and packaging area. 
IDC MarketScape names Konica Minolta a Major Player in Work¬flow Services Hardcopy in the Western European market.
Konica Minolta acquires the majority stake (65%) of Mobotix, a German manufacturer of IP video surveillance cameras. Against the background of the security industry always striving for more advanced monitoring technologies to make society safer and more secure, with this acquisition Konica Minolta enhances its technological capabilities in this field and leverages the technological synergy of both companies in order to create next-generation monitoring systems.
2015Introducing its first full-digital label press system, bizhub PRESS C71cf, Konica Minolta enters the industrial printing segment.
With its acquisition of U.S.-based inspection system manufacturer Radiant Vision Systems, Konica Minolta enters into the manufacturing inspection segment. 
Konica Minolta is included in the FTSE4Good Global index for the twelfth consecutive year. In the most recent evaluation, Konica Minolta is awarded with a full score in the corporate governance and pollution and resources aspects, as well as high marks in the climate change aspects.
Konica Minolta is awarded first place for environmental activities in the 18th Nikkei Environmental Management Survey.
2014Konica Minolta launches four Business Innovation Centres across the world in each of its key regional markets of North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Japan in order to develop new businesses.
Konica Minolta daughter Charterhouse acquires Indicia, a leading customer engagement company. The acquisition is part of Charterhouse’s continued strategy to strengthen their range of offers in marketing services. With Charterhouse being part of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe, the acquisition contributes to Konica Minolta’s strategy towards a full-service business solutions provider by adding expertise to Konica Minolta’s field of Marketing Management Services.
Konica Minolta announces the launch of a global Managed Content Services (MCS) programme. The company’s MCS is tailored to individual digital workflow of customers aiming to increase their operating efficiency.

Konica Minolta announces the launch and sponsorship of the foundation for an independent European production printing user community, called PROKOM. Konica Minolta is European #1 in the Office Colour A3 (22.2%) and Production Printing (34.3%) segment (according to infosource).
The Konica Minolta systems are the first laser-based MFPs in the industry to receive the Blue Angel mark under new, stricter regulations.
Konica Minolta wins IF Product Design Award for its bizhub C554 series.
Konica Minolta wins PRINCE2 Best Practise Award 2013 for excellent project management performance.
2012

The group management system is reorganized and the company name changed to Konica Minolta, Inc.
Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH and Konica Minolta Business Solutions Deutschland GmbH integrate Develop GmbH. The company will generate business for the brand DEVELOP and engage in a new era of growth with two brands that perfectly complement customers’ needs.
Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH acquires Charterhouse PM Limited, a leading European marketing services production company. The envisaged acquisition is part of Konica Minolta’s future strategy to invest in Print Management Services.
The advanced Info Palette Design is introduced. The large 9" innovative control panel introduces “Touch & Swipe” convenience for on-screen document preview and intuitive commands.
BLI Line of the Year 2012: For the second consecutive year, we have won Buyers Laboratory Inc.’s prestigious A3 MFP Line of the Year award.
2011Konica Minolta wins BLI Line of the Year 2011: Once each year, Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI), the leading global provider of information and testing services to the digital imaging industry, recognizes the vendors whose product lines are the best based on the results of individual models.
2010"bizhub PRESS" is adopted as our new product brand for the production print segment, and the "bizhub PRESS C8000" released.
2009Konica Minolta signs United Nations Global Compact describing the ten principals to human rights, work, environment and anti-corruption.
Konica Minolta introduces its Managed Print Services (MPS) offering under the name of Optimized Print Services or OPS. Combining consultancy, hardware and software implementation as well as operation, OPS enhances the efficiency and reduces the TCO of corporate printing infrastructures for medium to large sized businesses.
2007The new InfoLine Design is introduced: Embracing Konica Minolta’s philosophy of innovation and change, the new bizhub C550 features the revolutionary InfoLine design, which incorporates the fundamentals of existing bizhub models into a stylish and technologically superior office tool unlike any encountered before.
Digital Imaging Square, the first presentation space oriented towards the production print market is opened.
Konica Minolta withdraws from the photo and camera business.
2005With the bizhub C450, the first device equipped with our own Emperon controller is launched.
2004The "bizhub" name is adopted as our new brand for office equipment. The bizhub C350 is the first product released under this name.
Next-generation inkjet textile printer, “Nassenger V”, is launched.
2003A holding company, Konica Minolta Holdings, Inc. is established by integrating the Management of Konica Corporation and Minolta Co., Ltd.
2000Launch of Simitri polymerised toner, and Konica Minolta Supplies Manufacturing Co., Ltd., takes up operation. The company is a joint venture for the production of polymerized toners containing biomass for multifunctional products and printers.
1992Konica Minolta is the first company worldwide to get a Blue Angel mark in the field of copying.
1990Monochrome laser-printer, “SP101” is launched.
Digital full-colour copier, “CF70”, is launched.
1985Market introduction of the "7000", pioneering SLR camera with autofocus function.
1983The world’s first copier with stepless zoom magnification/reduction function, “EP450Z” is launched
1977The launch of the "C35AF" represents the introduction of the world's first 35mm compact autofocus camera.
1975With the "C35EF", the world's first 35mm camera with built-in flash and AE functions is introduced.

1928Kazuo Tashima launches production of cameras in Japan and establishes Nichi-Doku Shashinki Shoten, later known as Minolta Co., Ltd.
1903The Cherry Hand Camera, Japan’s first brand name camera is marketed.
1873Rokusaburo Sugiura starts selling photographic and lithographic materials at Konishiya Rokubeiten in Kojimachi, Tokyo. This marks the foundation of the business of Konica Corporation.
