Career background

As General Manager, Olaf Lorenz is responsible for the entire International Marketing Division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH. He is also a member of the European management board. This involves responsibility for the entire product lifecycle, from product planning to European launch through to the end of the product’s life.
Olaf Lorenz studied medical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Wedel, near Hamburg, Germany.
Before joining Konica Minolta in July 1999, he worked as a national pre-sales engineer at NRG Group, Hamburg, which deals in total document solutions.
He has a strong background in the field of document output consultancy. He has also gathered valuable experience in market trends analysis as a basis for developing appropriate marketing strategies.
In his leisure time, Olaf Lorenz likes to play soccer and squash and enjoys spending time with his two sons (4 and 6 years old).
